The cutest Christmas present ever!

Check out the chair that Aaron got from Uncle Tom! It matches our real furniture perfectly!!!! Thanks, Tom. We love you and miss you. :)

Yay for cheerios!

It's official- Aaron has perfected the art of finger foods! Ok, maybe not perfected, but he's getting the hang of it pretty quickly. Sometimes he has to put pretty much his entire hand in his mouth to get the food in, but he gets it in there!

He LOVES to eat anything and everything that he can get his little fingers on now, with his favorites being Gerber puffs, cheerios, and peices of apples, grapes, and bananas. He's not very fond of baby food these days (except for the fruits), but he loves eating "real" food. We've given him all kinds of things now, including crackers, hamburger, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, cottage cheese, yogurt, and all kinds of fruits and vegetables.

He really prefers to feed himself now, so anything that he can pick up and get in his mouth is definitely best! Aaron acts like he's been eating food for years- it's hilarious!!!

New Adventures!

Sharing a few of Aaron's recent adventures! He has figured out how to climb INTO the dishwasher, pull down the toilet paper rolls, eat biter biscuits, and walk behind his toys! He's definitely not a baby anymore- we've got a BIG boy on our hands. I have some pictures of him playing in the toilet water (just great, I know!) but they are on my computer that crashed yesterday. I'll keep the posts coming of all of his new adventures!

Family Christmas in Iowa

A few days after Christmas we all got together to have a celebration with just our immediate family. The kids got spoiled by Nanny & Papa, we ate lots of great left overs, played games, and just enjoyed each others company. We are lucky to have such a great family!

Cousins!

Here are a few shots of Aaron's favorite cousins at our Christmas celebration at my mom and dad's house on the 27th with just our immediate family

Christmas day

Aaron wasn't feeling his best on Christmas day (had a little bit of a stomach virus we think), but he still managed to enjoy his presents from Santa! He got all kinds of fun stuff and Santa brought it all in a big fuzzy red bag with Aaron printed on it, as well as a Santa hat that said Aaron. We spent Christmas day at my mom and dad's house celebrating with my Dad's side of the family. (I can't write all of their names or I would be here all day!) We had a great time and Aaron enjoyed spending time with lots of cousins and got loads of extra attention from Jessica (Jerry and Alecia's daughter)!

Christmas Eve fun

We celebrated Christmas Eve with my mom's side of the family in Fort Dodge this year. My Aunt Linda, Uncle Bob, Grandma Avis, Cousin Jarrod and his wife Molly and their daughter Nora, and Terry joined the rest of us (Mom and Dad, Brother Tony and his wife Angie and their three kids, Emma (almost 11), Jacob (6), and Olivia (2 1/2), Sister Amy and her husband Dan and their two kids, Brett (4) and Claire (20 months), and Tim, Aaron, and I.) We had a great visit and it was so fun having two new babies to add to the rest! Nora and Aaron were adorable together, so we had to take plenty of pictures of them! Also sharing one of Aaron napping with Papa!
