Walking- 10 1/2 months old!

We wanted to share a couple little video clips of Aaron walking last night before his bath. He's getting pretty good!

Bath time!

Sharing some pictures of Aaron in his bath. He still loves bath time, but it's a struggle some days to get him to actually SIT in the bathtub! (He has lots of bruises and scratches on his head from all of the falling while he's learning to walk, so please excuse those! ) He loves to read his two bath books and play with his fish toy, often drinking from it! He definitely keeps us entertained!

Visiting Great Grandparents

We took a road trip to Appleton last weekend to visit Tim's Papa and Grandma Coenen. They were excited to see their only Great Grandchild and we had fun visiting with them and Aunt Amy too! Aaron got a balloon while he was there and had a great time chasing it around. He played ball with Amy and had a ride around their apartment on Papa's walker too!

After that visit we drove to Waupaca to visit Paul and Michelle and got to see their awesome cottage! Didn't take any pictures while we were there for some reason, but we had a great time visiting and enjoyed a delicious dinner and some "short" carrot cake (which was awesome) before we headed home! What fun!

New house!

I've been promising many friends and family members that I would pass on some pictures of the new house and am finally doing it! Tim and I spent this weekend getting the finishing touches put on to our new home and are ready to show it off! Here is the lengthy tour!!

Our home.

The heart of every home, the kitchen!

Plenty of places to eat in this house, with our eat in kitchen and dining room. Guess we'll have to start having some dinner parties now?!

This is the kitchen with the beautiful new hardwood flooring, thanks to LOTS of hard work by my dad and Dan!!

Here is the powder room, just off the dining room.

This dining room set belonged to Tim's mom and dad. We have photos of when they bought it, over 30 years ago! We're proud to be able to have it in our house.

We have a bunch of art that was done by Tim's grandmother, Mary Morrison, as well as one by his mom displayed in the dining room.

Dining room

Here is our living room.

We are really enjoying our new furniture and television!

Stairs- going up there is a really awesome light fixture, thanks to Dan!

This is the entry way- it's a step down into the living room.

Master bedroom- there's a small balcony off the back that overlooks the porch and small garden area. (Will have to share some pictures of that in the spring when things start to bloom!)

Master bedroom (Aaron really wanted to be crawling through these pictures!)

Master bedroom- it has tall vaulted ceilings and there's a sky light over our bed as well as in the bathroom.

Here is the master bathroom.

Master bath- it's so nice to have 2 sinks now!

Here is Aaron's bathroom.

We decided to do Aaron's room in a baseball theme. It is turning out really cute and he's in love with all of the baseball stuff, especially the bobble head collection and the Brewers Build a Bear from Aunt Linda! Tim has loved being able to display some of his childhood pennants, especially the ones from the Brewers trip to the '82 World Series, when Tim got to attend a game at 5 years old! Guess you can say that being a Brewers fan started very early with Tim, so we're hoping that it will with Aaron too!

Aaron wanted to be in the photos of his room!

We are waiting on the quilt that goes along with the bedding that we got him from Pottery Barn Kids- it's back ordered until June! Very convenient!

Aaron's walk-in closet is HUGE! We have a dresser and changing table in there and still room for some shelves, laundry hamper, diaper pail, and lots of other goodies!

In this armoire hides the "office" and the chair is in the closet!

Guest room/Office

Come to the Coenen hotel in Chicago and this could be your room!

This is the guest room on the lower level.

This is the guest bathroom on the lower level. (When anyone comes to visit, the purple bathroom will be yours!)

Here is Aaron's play area. We have really been enjoying that the toys now have a place to live!

Lower level living room.

Lower level living room. This is where the xBox is, so all of the "toys" are down here!
