We made our first trip as a family of 4 to Fort Dodge, Iowa to visit my family. The trip started out a little rough when we got a later start than we wanted to on Friday evening (5 pm) and didn't arrive at my parents house until 1 am! The kids did a great job on the trip though, partly thanks to the portable dvd player that Nanny and Papa gave Aaron for Christmas!
We had a great time introducing Maggie to all kinds of friends and family. Nanny, Papa, Amy, Brett, and Claire had been to Chicago to meet Maggie, so they were really excited to see her (and the rest of us) again. Tony, Angie, Emma, Jacob, Olivia, Dan, Grandma Avis, Tracy and Kevin were the other family members that met Maggie this weekend. (We missed you, Linda and Bob!) Maggie also got to meet some of my dearest friends and their children- Laura and her kids, Reed and Drake, Elizabeth and her daughter, Isabelle (this was also our first time to meet Izzy), Tabitha and her kids, Lilly, Ella, and Eli. Nanny made all kinds of great food and we spent time playing outside and catching up. The kids had a late easter egg hunt and got all kinds of 'loot' for their piggy banks! We had so much fun seeing everyone and thank them all for taking time to spend with us!

Tim didn't drink for 9 months with me while I was pregnant. Here he is showing off an adult beverage!
Maggie is not looking very lady like with her skirt hiked up abve her bottom!
Guess we should have combed Claire's hair before taking photos right away in the morning!
Maggie looks like she is saying, "Why would you put me in his arms?"
