At 4 1/2 months old, our little Maggie was already scooting and rolling around the room. The past couple of weeks, Maggie has been trying to perfect her crawl and is getting pretty good. This video was taken a few days ago and she's even closer to crawling now! Here's a little look at our mover. It won't be long and she will be a crawler!
We had our first family movie night. We watched Toy Story and Aaron loved it! We let Aaron have popcorn and pop during movie night and he loved the rootbeer!
We took Aaron bowling for the first time recently and wanted to share some pictures. We went with Kate & Connor and Amy & Asher and the boys had a great time! Check out the little bowlers!
I love the color green- it's my favorite! Apparently I'm trying to force that love on my children as well! Here are some shots of Maggie playing with her paci. She hardly uses it anymore, but she does enjoy pulling it out of her mouth, chewing on it, switching it from hand to hand, and putting it back into her mouth! Aaron is playing with his new trains. And ofcourse, the photos of the two of them rolling around the floor together. Sibling love!
Maggie has had her first cold this week. Boo. Aaron has a cold and an ear infection, so the past few days haven't been the best we've ever had. Had to share a few pictures of Maggie with her runny nose and "sick" eyes. Through it all, she still kept a smile!
Tim & I were so fortunate to be able to take a trip by ourselves to Sanibel Island, Florida. Nanny & Papa came to Chicago to stay with Aaron & Maggie. They had a great time and said that they kids were awesome. Aaron went with my dad when he drove us to the airport, so Aaron was very interested in the fact that we were going to be going on a trip on an airplane. My mom and dad said that any time they saw an airplane, Aaron would point up and say, "Bye Mommy and Daddy!"
This was our first time in Sanibel Island and we really enjoyed it. The beaches are beautiful, light sand and full of shells. There is a dune type of area that separates all of the hotels and roads from the beach, which was something I had never seen before. We did an awesome sunset cruise where we got a nice look at the Sanibel lighthouse and pier, as well as dolphins and a beautiful sunset! We also did a shelling cruise that took us out to an island that you can only get to by boat. We saw a bunch of dolphins on the way and searched for shells in the water and on the beach. We ate tons of great seafood and spent lots of time on the beach.
Tim & I had a wonderful and relaxing trip. It was fun to spend a few days taking care of ourselves! Thanks, Mom & Dad!!!'
