Aaron & Tim enjoyed a nice whirlpool bath after their day of work on Saturday. Say cheese! (Aaron still gives us that crazy look at times when you tell him to smile and say cheese!)
Sharing some pictures of Maggie's new toy- a beautiful and fancy new swing! We had a little travel swing that we used with Aaron that must have died because we have no idea where it went! We decided that Maggie needed as many "safe" places to hang out as possible! Turns out that Aaron has a real interest in the swing also, so we've had to make a 'no touching' rule! Here are some shots of Maggie enjoying her new space! Tim has taken on a landscaping project at our house this spring and he has a little helper who is right by his side..... Aaron! Aaron loves to be a 'worker' and is having a great time working alongside his Daddy! He's pretty serious about his work at times and loves to work with the tools. You can see the big smile on his face when he's holding a hammer or a rake! Here are some photos of some of the work that they are doing.
These are a little old now, but I thogught I'd share them anyway! Maggie's umbilical cord finally fell off after about a week and a half, which meant that it was time for her first bath! Hard to say if she really "enjoyed" it, but she didn't cry (which I do remember Aaron doing during his first bath).
This is a video we made for Nanny and Papa, but thought everyone could share in the fun. We hope everyone has a safe and fulfilling Easter Sunday!
Also wanted to share some photos of our Easter fun. Yesterday (Saturday), we dyed some easter eggs. We started with 8 and ended up with 4 and one leg of Aaron's pants covered in pink dye! Probably not too bad, considering the age and activity level of Aaron! Here are our 4 eggs! The pink one was my egg. I put each of our first initials on and did a border at the top - you can't really see much of it! This is Aaron's egg! This one was Tim's egg. We let the kids (only Aaron, really) dig into their Easter baskets right away in the morning, had some breakfast, and then headed to church for the 10:30 service. Aaron hunted Easter eggs (in the house because it was a little too windy for Maggie to be outside) and Aaron enjoyed some time outside this afternoon.
We are grilling steaks this evening for our Easter dinner. We were going to share the day with Aunt Beth, but she got sick.... booo! Hoping that she's feeling better soon- we missed spending the day with her.
Sharing some photos of Aaron and Maggie from the past week. She's a wonderful little lady and Aaron loves her already! He tries to share toys with her, even though he does understand that she can't play with them yet. I knew that he really loved her when he shared one of his tape measures with her the other day!
