We had a fun, though germ filled weekend. Nanny, Papa, Amy, Brett, & Claire came in from Iowa to visit us and have an early birthday celebration for Maggie.
Tim started feeling sick on Friday night and woke up feeling really rough on Saturday. He went to the doctor and was diagnosed with strep throat. Papa wasn't feeling great either and then Claire came down with a fever on Saturday and ended their visit in the ER at Children's Memorial on Sunday afternoon because she had a fever of 104.6! Ended up that it was just a viral infection that she's going to have to suffer through, but we just felt terrible to have their visit end that way.
All of the germs did change our plans and we ended up having a lower key weekend, but it was still a ton of fun!
All 4 of the kids have birthday in March/April/May, so on Saturday we had an early birthday for all of them. Gifts, cupcakes and ice cream, musical chairs, dancing.... it was a fun little birthday bash!
