Fun with friends

Maggie and I got together with some of her friends and their moms from the Goddard School. These are little girls that were in her class and she has been missing them! They loved playing together and it was like they had never been apart!

Here are a few pictures from a recent play date with Kate, Matt, Connor, & Sawyer.  The adults were all upstairs talking and suddenly Connor came upstairs and said that Maggie & Sawyer were drawing on their faces.  I went downstairs to find Maggie with dry erase marker ALL over her face.  She's crying in this picture because she really didn't want us to take a picture of her (and she was tired from no nap)!  It was just too hilarious to not capture!  (It also came off really easily, which was a relief!)

We brought the kids pajamas so we could get them dressed for bed, since we were leaving Kate & Matt's house at bedtime and it's about a 30 minute drive home.  Aaron got his jammies on and Connor came out dressed in the same ones, that Aaron got him for his birthday.

Our friends from Wicker Park, Diana & Scott, moved to the western suburbs just a few months before we did.  We're not as close as we used to be (we lived 2 blocks apart), but it's really great to have them out here rather than in the city!  Here are the kids at the end of the night when we were getting all of their pajamas on.
