Apple picking

One of my favorite fall activities is going Apple Picking! Kate and I ventured up north to Wisconsin for a day of fun with Aaron and Connor at Apple Holler a couple of weekends ago. The boys had a great time picking (and eating) tons of apples! They jumped in the bouncy house and rode on a 'train', which was really a lawn tractor pulling some trailers! We had a great time and are still eating our apples, apple crisp, apple dumplings, etc! Mmmmmmm

We decided that it was a little too early to purchase our pumpkins, but we had fun goofing around in the pumpkin patch too. Aaron was determined that he was going to pick up a pumpkin and did manage to at least move a few of them!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Connor!

I'm a little late uploading these photos, but wanted to share a few from Connor's 2nd birthday party. Connor's Oma brought a pinata, which Connor wasn't real keen on hitting with the stick (golf club)! He did, however, enjoy hitting it with his hammer!

The day of Connor's party, we took the boys to the Cook County Fair that was at a nearby park. They had fun jumping in the bouncy castle and riding on the ponies!
