A funny from Aaron

Last night as we were reading books, Maggie asked me to take my socks off because she wanted to see my painted toenails. Aaron noticed my tattoo on my toe and asked me if it was temporary. I told him no, it was permanent. He went on to tell me, "And that is why we don't play with permanent markers, Mom!" Good point, buddy.

San Diego trip- LegoLand and Disney California Adventure

We had a wonderful trip to San Diego over Thanksgiving.  We spent a day at Legoland, a day at Disney California Adventure Park, the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Safari Park, and Sea World.  It was an exciting and fun-filled week!  Nanny & Papa joined us for half of the week and we loved having them with us to celebrate Thanksgiving!
Maggie has a nap as we're waiting in line for a ride!

While we were at Disney California Adventure Park, we went to Ariel's Groto to have dinner with the princesses.  Maggie has always liked the Disney princesses, but wasn't really into them, the some little girls are... but we decided to see if we could get seating for this dinner.  When we were at Disney World, they have a princess meal and they recommend making reservations at 3-6 months in advance, so we didn't even try to do it.  So when we saw this one, we just stopped on a whim to see if there was a chance and we got a reservation for that evening.  It was perfect!  Aaron said that he would like to go because he thought that Maggie would really enjoy it (so sweet) and was a really good sport and had a great time.  He didn't want to get his picture taken with any of the princesses, but was happy to watch Maggie interact with them and really seemed to enjoy watching her have fun.  :)  Maggie had the time of her life and it was so much fun to watch her!  The meal was delicious too!
