Baptism

The weekend of exciting events continued on Sunday with Aaron's baptism. Aunt Beth and cousins, Maria, John, and Will drove down from Milwaukee to join us and it was fun to have them, as well as the rest of the crew (Nan, Papa, Uncle Tom, Aunt Amy, Uncle Dan, and cousins Brett and Claire) to celebrate this special day with Aaron.

It was pretty scary to have to sit ALL the way at the front of the church, as we usually end up walking out of the chapel area at least once with Aaron during every church service, but he did really well. He's was a little squirmy during the speaking part of the baptism, but as soon as Pastor Donovan got ahold of him, he shaped right up! He let him put his head right down to the water and didn't mind one bit! I think he was wondering why he was getting a bath during church!

Aaron didn't really want to cooperate for the photos after the service, so they're certainly not great shots of him, but I'll share them anyway!

After the service, everyone came back to our house for some brunch and Aaron got a few more presents. What a spoiled boy he was during this weekend!
