Traveling to Iowa
The kids did a great job on our trip to Iowa last week to visit my family. We left in the morning at Maggie's nap time, so she slept for about an hour, they watched a movie, we stopped for lunch, they watched another movie, and then we arrived! (The trip is around 7 hours when you take about an hour break in the middle.)

Aren't road trips great? Unfortunately, my four-legged fur-kid Elvis isn't so keen on watching DVDs. We've got a few places along our path that we like to get out, stretch the legs and play some frisbee.
It was fun talking with you this weekend, Annie. Not often enough, but isn't that life??
